If you have a large but hilly backyard, taking advantage of your green space can be difficult. Frustrated by his yard, Redditor TheAccidentof85 took matters into his own hands.
Though he works a desk job by day, he spent his free time building an amazing bi-level patio in his backyard, complete with a fire pit and plenty of seating for guests. Check out his amazing handiwork below.
The backyard was originally very hilly and unusable.
He started work by digging up the grass.
His adorable dog helped out, too.
Then he excavated the space.
He had to reroute some of the drainage pipes for the new design.
After excavating, he built the foundation for the walls.
He began installing the stairs and walls.
When the walls were finished, it was time to fill in the space with rocks and build the patio.
He filled the lower portion of space with rocks for backfill.
Then he added river rocks for a prettier look.
To finish off the remodel, he installed a tiled patio.
The finished product is gorgeous.
