New York City is known for its odd charm (among many, many other things). One of the most delightful discoveries you can make in the big city is this small museum. It is chock full of charm, despite its diminutive size.
The museum is located in the TriBeCa area of lower Manhattan and known simply as The Museum. It’s located inside of a former freight elevator that is a mere 60 square feet. The Museum features a lot of interesting cultural artifacts from around the world. It’s a stop many tourists don’t know about, but would love to see.
It’s been around since 2012, but even residents of the neighborhood might be surprised to discover its existence.
Inside, you’ll find a package of melted gummy worms, a Disney bulletproof backpack, and a single black shoe thrown at former President George W. Bush, among many other oddities.
