Unless you’re a skier or some sort of coat salesperson, it’s hard to get excited about the winter. Luckily, Mother Nature includes plenty of little gifts in what is otherwise a relentless onslaught of frigid winds, dark days, and heavy snow. Things like this frozen pond that was spotted by Reddit user odstane.
The water frozen in circles around the rock creates a pattern that you could get lost in for quite some time if you’re not careful of how you stare into it. The pond looks so beautiful, it feels like it should be hanging up in an art museum somewhere. Well, it would if it were possible for someone to believe that anyone on earth is capable of making something this beautiful. This is one of those things that you take a look at and just know that it was made by something bigger than man. Take a look!
