If most people had a giant spider crawling on their arm, they would be quick to run, scream, and swat at the spider until it was dead or ran away. (Or is that just me?)
At any rate, I think we could all learn a thing or two from 2-year-old Florence Haystaff. In a video uploaded to Facebook by her mother Laura, you can see Florence is not intimidated by spiders at all. Even if they are giant and scary looking.
The video was shot by Laura at their home in Hampshire, England.
Laura describes her daughter as “pretty inquisitive,” and “comfortable with creepy crawlies and animals.”
She says the spider Florence “plays” with is a common garden spider, and not at all poisonous.
