You can make art out of just about anything. While some people choose to be more traditional with their canvases by using paint or pencils, other artists branch out and think outside of the box. One such artist is Max Zorn, who makes incredible portraits using only brown packing tape.
With this method, Max has created and recreated incredible pieces of art. The painstaking time it must take to complete these pieces is immeasurable. You can barely tell that they’re made using packing tape unless you look carefully at each artwork.
Max often hangs these wonderful pieces of art in public places (particularly on street lights). His work in tape art has also featured in exhibits across the world, including at ArtBasel in Miami and his home city of Amsterdam. These works and more are all available on his website, where you can even purchase a few pieces. These would definitely look great in my living room.
