Norway native Lars Jørun Langøien has an unusual hobby: ice bathing. Yep, this guy actually likes jumping into frozen lakes and frigid waters on a regular basis.
But on his most recent outing to the icy waters, Lars was surprised to meet a new friend who was in desperate need of some assistance.
This handsome duck just wanted to take a nice stroll along the ice.
But it wasn’t quite as strong as he thought, and soon he found himself submerged in the frigid water.
But the freezing water and ice were no match for Lars, who dove in after the duck.
He was already in his swim trunks and ready to plunge when he saw the distressed duck.
Lars even assisted the bird with a little bit of mouth-to-mouth to get him back in action.
The two dried off and seemed to become instant best friends.
His community has also started referring to him as Lars, King of Ducks.
