Dogs are widely considered to be man’s best friend. Recently, dogs have also been man’s best partner in the field, saving many lives on important missions. Military dogs are invaluable as a resource for bomb detection. They not only save the lives of their owners, but many civilian lives, too.
As a soldier, it’s difficult not to get attached to your canine compatriot. This is what makes this reunion between a bomb-sniffing dog and his veteran owner so touching.

This was quite a touching reunion and a great story for that military dog and his military family. Luckily, this vet was able to bring his favorite comrade back home with him, where a nice big bed and a doggie bone await him.
