This Guy Used Bicycle Parts To Create Something Absolutely Amazing

Building a bicycle is truly an art form. They’re complicated machines with cogs, chains, and parts unrecognizable to the untrained eye. One bicycle enthusiast and designer decided to use his know-how and turn his love for bikes into the coolest clock ever. He attached numbers to a bike chain and a rotating motor that moves in perfect correspondence with the time of day. Not only is it mechanically amazing, but it’s also a unique piece of home decor. Check out his creation below.

Here’s the finished product, using a synchronous motor, wood, an upcycled bicycle chain, and a rear bike cassette. Let’s take a look at how he made it.

Here

First, he cut the frame out of a piece of oak.

I wish I had the technical skills to make this clock. Would you hang this piece in your home?
