Hawaii-based artists Defer and Kamea Hadar are teaming up to collaborate on a new series of work. The series depicts a modern version of the Biblical story of Adam and Eve called “Paradise Lost.”
The duo were inspired by the 17th epic poem of the same name by John Milton. Their modern take on the story of the downfall of man uses Hawaii as the setting of Paradise. They weave the story of Adam and Eve into their paintings alongside traditional Hawaiian iconography. The result is something truly spectacular. Just take a look.
